Picked up some 8mm film at the flea market and 2 of the reels were this. I spliced them together. If anyone can identify where this took place please leave a comment. Thanks

I usually make these little one minute songs but I went big and doubled that.
Spider From Hell / Friendship Bridge / Twilight Zone Episode 1984
Переглядів 4296 місяців тому
The year was 1984. One very patient father (Gary) indulged his son (Tim) and best friend (Aaron) one weekend day and let them film, not one, but TWO films back to back. Thankfully, a third actor (Julie) genereously agreed to work for scale to round out the cast. I won't bore you with the elaborate details that went into the Spider's creation/execution. All I can say is every dime is visible on ...
THX Theater Alignment Program Cassette 1984

At the dawn of the THX program, Lucasfilm sent out packages of info about their program. Included was this cassette which give an detailed overview of what the program offered theater exhibitors. At this time, 70mm prints were more common and a big part of their program was maintaining quality control over presentation. Fascinating piece of theater history.

Rubina (cover)

I took a swing at Rubina by Satriani. I remember trying to learn this in the late 80’s and it just confounded me like most of his stuff back then. I dusted it off last week and decided to really learn it right. I took some liberties here and there but I feel satisfied with how I landed for the most part. It’s a beautiful song and I was happy to find a backing track on UA-cam to play to. 🙏 Thank...

Rosanna Solo and Outro Solo
Переглядів 812 роки тому
I started playing guitar 39 years ago and at some point in my journey I became obsessed with learning and mastering the two solos for Rosanna. There is something very special /specific in the way Steve Lukather plays solos. There’s a swing to it. His vibrato is sexy. I know that I’ll never play it exactly as he does but it’s been this ongoing thing where I try anyway. I have my own style but ev...

DA - HD Box Set / Replacement Disc / 1980 copy vinyl Comparison
Переглядів 403 роки тому
The DA HD box set's side one has a pressing issue. Very noisy. I asked for a replacement. Unfortunately, it was actually slightly worse. My 1980 copy is perfect. When I inquired about getting a replacement I was told they had some issues with the early copies. I am sending back the replacement. Hopefully they will have a good copy to send.

Bro u forgot Wtop-tv (WHG) 9 D.C
So many missed opportunities.
Very cool, but If these could be "cleaned up" to remove the haze, they would be fantastic!!
Angel was the best part of the Rockford Files. I often see reruns of the show but only those episodes with Angel. RIP Mr Margolin.
Are you kidding me, Thanks!!!
It's just like being there great

He also had his show in Dayton and would allow an audience of 15 to 20 people if you got there in time. No one was sober by end of night. Then went to Charlie's donuts for coffee Aaand donuts !
My brother and I grew up watching Bob and his movies. In the summertime we would camp out in our 2 man tent in our parents backyard on Pop popcorn and have Barqes Cream Soda. We would run an extension cord from the garage, and hook up our 12 inch black n white w/ rabbit ears tv and watch the PPP show throughout the early morning. Without a doubt, probably some of the best memories of growing up. Miss those days 😢
I also remember Bob from "This Is Music' from WCPO PANTOMIME HIT PARADE. Was local and on ABC NETWORK. Colin Male was the anouncer!
Made with CapCut
Garner was fantastic in what to say to your local sheriff I think it was in the follow up
excelente
True ' honest to God , natural chemistry between Mr Garner and Mr Margolin ... Brilliant !
Stuart Margolin....writer, director, player, inceptionist of "Love American Style" ..network (ABC) forebearer of sexuality-based TV....aired last on Friday night
Jim and Angel, sleeping in the RV while laying low from the bad guys, are awakened by the sound of something metal being unscrewed ... Jim: "Did you lock the gas cap like I told you Angel?" Angel: "I forgot Jimmy". BOOM!!!
Outstanding vintage television logos classics!!
Three bikini ladies at the 36:47 mark, this is a very extreme rare 1968 movie!!
Bad acting, bad camerawork, bad fake spider. I didnt watch the next one.

Thank God for Death Wish, otherwise I would always think that Margolin WAS the sleazy scumbag from Rockford and Nichols...
How. Any way I can get it.
Love Rockford files ❤😂
nice duet
Im hoping to find this vinyl record
Fabulous!!!
This is epic!!!!
I would love to watch this with restored color. Did a lounge with toilets for bar stools really ever exist? They look ridiculous but see how comfortable everyone looks
Jacksonville Florida was what “Hollywood” would become to the film industry in the era before the 1920s. It was warm pretty much year round and had gobs of scenery to double as other locations. There is still a thriving film industry in Florida and the central part of the state in particular.
So cool especially if you grew up in NYC like me👌
Thanks for posting this. I had a set of DVDs released by the PPP club years back. Then they got stolen. Would love to find some of his shows.
Classic ,👍🇬🇧
The Ohio River Swim Club is almost painful to watch. Bob's assessment at 17:07 says it all.
1:58 And that's how we got William's Street / Adult Swim
My friends and I would try and stay up to watch this on Late Night TV.... we fell asleep most of the time.
My father is in this movie tiny Kennedy he is the one singing in the night club
Tiny Kennedy is a wonderful singer!
@@bobbrown7225 Thank you💜💜
I saw FIREBALL JUNGLE at the drive-in back when it was first released, and later was able to listen to some of his early recordings online. I wish they were easier to find. One of the most distinctive blues voices I have ever heard. He definitely should have been a bigger star!
@@bobbrown7225 I did not get a chance to hear my daddy sing or see his movies till I got older my dad passed away in 1985 when I was just five years old but he definitely had a awesome voice💜💜💜

RIP Stuart Margolin. 😔
There seems to be a *lot* of filler. Combine that with the crappy acting and really the last ten-twelve minutes are all that's worth watching in my opinion. Still, thanks for the upload. I remember watching the car chase on UA-cam as a young kid and always wondering about the rest of the movie
